Simona Bianco (PhD) was awarded the Alfred Bader Prize in Organic chemistry.

The Alfred Bader Prize in Organic Chemistry was founded in 1990 by a gift from Dr Alfred Bader, Chairman of the Sigma Aldrich Corporation. It is awarded annually to a student who graduates from the University with an Honours degree in Chemistry, and is thereafter admitted as a postgraduate student registered for a higher degree by research in Organic Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry of the University.
